Not sure if there is a way to fix this or not.

Lst week one of the staff didn\'t put the correct date in the USM at the beginning of the day. They put 11/12/2010 which of course was one year later exactly. So now it seems as if all our numbers are out of sync in our inventory.

!. Is there a way to go in and change that days sales to reflect the correct date?

2. I tried to generate a list of sales for that date but couldn\'t. Is this because the date falls after the range in the setup? (just tried again did exactly the same way and it worked?!?!?!?!) go figure

3. Would this account for the differences in our inventory figures?

Hi Kathleen,

Unfortunately there is no way to change just the date of those sales. The only way to do it is to reverse them and re-enter them in the correct date. To simplify things you could reverse all the sales as a single sale with multiple items in it and re-enter it in the correct date in the same way. Of course you would reverse in the wrong date and re-enter in the correct one.

Having entered them in a date that is outside the LIFO/FIFO setup date range will cause those transactions not o be accounted for, hence your issues with the inventory figures.

You can fix this issue in 2 ways:

1) As mentioned above, by reversing the sales made in the wrong date and re-enter them in the correct date

2) By adjusting your ArtsMagna_Main LIFO/FIFO Setup Date range with the inclusion of next financial year aready from now. In this case you would set your date range from 1/7/10 to 30/6/11
