Hi Adri,

Hope you are well.

Our question:

If we have 2 identical items in stock and for some reason they have been coded differently we know that we can unify the records but will we need to change the bar code label on one of the items? Or will the system "remember" the original code and be able to scan it? My instincts say NO! But just want to check.

Hi Kathleen,

Your instinct is correct. You will need to print a new label and replace the old label with the new one.
