Hi Adri,

Hope you are well. This is probably a repeat of a question asked before and so I will say sorry in advance but I have gone through all the posts and emails and to no avail. So here it is and another question as well.

First question:

I would like to print a report of the inventory held on a particular day. How do I do this? (for example not for today's date?)

Second question:

Sometimes when reports of various sorts print they are difficult to read because of the setup of the page/columns..things are cut off etc. How can I manipulate the appearance if I want to?

Many thanks,
Kathleen

Hi Adri,

Haven't heard from you on this yet? Everything OK?

Have some major issues going on and will describe in separate submission.

Thanks,
Kathleen

Hi Kathleen,

First Question

AM does not allow you to have this report in real time. You can however achieve this report via the LIFO/FIFO/Medium Stock Trend Reports. These reports are driven by the Financial Year period setup by the Date Range in Setup -> Stock. Normally your dates here would be something like

From 1/7/09
To 30/6/10

With the above dates the Stock Trend reports will show End Stock at the 30/6 of whatever year you select in those reports. If however you wanted to know your stock figures say at the 14/3/10 then you could setup temporarily your financial year as

From 15/3/10
To 14/3/11

And then run a Redo Product/Stock. If at the completion of the Redo Product you would run a Stock Trend Report for the year 2010 AM will then give you the stock at 15/3/10. After having printed your report you would then have to readjust the Setup date range back to the original values and then run again the Redo Product to bring things back to normal.

Second Question

If I have understood your question correctly, you simply need to adjust the resolution % so that all the report will fit correctly in the page.
